I will suggest a couple things you might check. First, remove the fuse box cover under the hood and look at the location for the fuel relay. Under the relay will be some numbers, one for each of the four prongs. The spot where #30 shows to be on the cover is where you have power. Diagonal from there will be #87. With the relay out, use a small wire and jump from the #30 to the #87. While doing this listen for the fuel pump to run. You should hear it at the engine also. If this makes the pump to run, then the pump probably is ok. Next put the relay back in. Try to start your truck. If it starts, let it run until it quits then turn off the key. Wait for about five minutes then have someone turn on the key while you are listening for the pump again. It should pump for approximately 2-3 seconds to pressurize the fuel to the engine when the key is turned on. If this happens you know the pump, relay and regulator are all doing fine.
